Although it feels like summer is almost over, there's still a whole month of adventures waiting to happen. Summer is the perfect time to unwind and enjoy all the things life has to offer. Sometimes in the school year, you don't have time to wind down and engage in the activities you'd like to. The opportunities are endless in the summer!!

One thing I love to do in the summer is brunch! During the school year, I genuinely feel like I mistreat my body when it comes to food. The college diet typically consists of grab & go snacks... including ramen, granola bars the occasional smoothie. So I like to make up for that by eating GREAT in the summer.

When I lived in New York, I practically went to every brunch spot in the city. Now that I live in LA, I've been more of a local girl & I brunch at the restaurants close by, including Roscoes (obviously)! It's always to get ready and go out for the day and start it with brunch. There's something about brunch that convinces me its magic. For some reason, every time I've had brunch before my day starts, it's always a good day. Think about it... if somebody told you they ate brunch, the chances of their day being bad are incrementally smaller. I've never heard anybody say "I had brunch today and the rest of the day was awful".

The truth about brunch is the mindset behind it. I know I go to brunch to wind down & enjoy some good food with even better company, which is why nothing can ruin that. The intentions behind the action, lead the outcome to be positive no matter what happens (whether it be positive or negative).

Now, onto another summer activity I love... walks in the park. When I lived in New York, I would always go around the city and attempt to go on new adventures, but I always found myself back at Central Park. All my friends & I would hang out there because of how big it was & I would always run into people I knew.

Those activities would just create a fun environment & overall a great summer day, which was always the goal for me. My point is any activity that involves going outside will most likely make your summer day fuller because of how pretty it is. Don't stay cooped up in your apartment or your house, go outside, hang out with your friends & do things that make you happy :)
